The Red Eagle is a 2010 Thai vigilante-superhero film directed and written by Wisit Sasanatieng. The story revolves around Direk Damrongprapa, the leader of the Liberal Party in Bangkok, who campaigns against corruption. His fiancée Vasana Tienpradap, a Harvard-educated geology expert, supports him. However, Direk betrays Vasana by refusing to halt the construction of a nuclear power plant.
