Paradise Kiss is a popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ai Yazawa. It was serialized in Zipper magazine and collected into five volumes. The series has also been adapted into a 12-episode anime, produced by Aniplex and Studio Madhouse. It is set in the same universe as Yazawa's previous work, Neighborhood Story, but is a standalone story. Paradise Kiss has gained popularity both domestically and internationally. The English version of the manga was published by Vertical, Inc.
