Invisible Waves

Invisible Waves is a 2006 crime film directed by Pen-Ek Ratanaruang. The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and was also shown at the Bangkok International Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. The story follows Kyoji, a cook living in Macau, who has an affair with Seiko, his boss's wife. Kyoji is ordered to poison her and then leave Hong Kong, leading to a series of mysterious events. The film features Tadanobu Asano in the lead role. The film explores themes of crime, betrayal, and secrecy. The cinematography is done by Christopher Doyle.
