Dawn of the Arcana is a shōjo manga by Rei Toma that tells the story of Nakaba, a princess who is forced to marry Caesar, a prince of a rival kingdom, in order to improve relations between their countries. As Nakaba settles into her new life, she discovers that she possesses the Arcana of Time, a power feared by many and which allows her to see into the past and future. This power leads her to become entangled in a love triangle with Caesar and Loki, as well as the ongoing struggle between the Belquat and Senan kingdoms. Alongside these conflicts, Nakaba also finds herself caught in the battle for equality between the Ajin, a sub-species that is often mistreated and discriminated against, and ordinary humans. The manga ran for ten years and has been published in multiple languages, receiving praise for its shojo fantasy elements and intriguing storylines.
