Challengers is a yaoi manga by Hinako Takanaga, which follows the story of Tomoe Tatsumi, a high school student who gets lost in Tokyo and ends up staying with Mitsugu Kurokawa. Their relationship gradually develops amidst interference from friends and relatives. The series also features a spin-off focusing on Tomoe's brother Souichi and his lab assistant Morinaga. Challengers, though not as polished as Takanaga's later works, is an amusing and entertaining read. The manga was originally titled Goukaku kigan and has been licensed in German and French under different titles.
