Beauty Pop is a shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Kiyoko Arai. It focuses on the life of a talented hairstylist named Kiri Koshiba and her problems with the 'Scissors Project,' a group of boys determined to become the best makeover team in Japan. Kiri unintentionally becomes a rival to the Scissors Project and eventually becomes a member of the SP. Throughout the series, the SP faces challenges while aiming to become the top team of beauticians in Japan. Beauty Pop ran for a total of 51 chapters in the Ciao magazine and was later published in 10 volumes. The manga has also been adapted into a drama CD.
