Bambi and Her Pink Gun is a manga series by Atsushi Kaneko. It follows the story of a sixteen-year-old girl named Bambi, who kidnaps a young boy from a crazy vampire star and is taking him back to the 'Old Men'. The series is known for its extreme violence and each scene has a different look and feel, such as Western, Latino, the 40s, traditional Japanese, etc. The manga was originally serialized in Comic Beam magazine from July 1998 to September 2001. It was compiled into six volumes and a special edition titled 'Rei Alternative' was published in 2002. A remodeled version of Bambi was released in 2014. An English-language translation of the manga was released in two volumes by Digital Manga Publishing in mid-July and December 2005.
